November 5, 2014

Remember, remember the 5 November, the day the Green Light and Kickstarter hit ‘Project Nimbus’ arrived on Steam Early Access.

Project Nimbus is a high speed, fast paced flying mech combat game where the player controls a giant robot – a Battle Frame – flying at hypersonic speed and armed with a laser sword, machine guns, a pair of rail guns… and a LOT of missiles!

Set in the near future, mankind has evacuated to the skies after a great war destroyed the planet’s surface, making it unable to support human life.  With resources scarce, humanity is again on the brink of another full scale war.  Fight against an army of enemy Battle Frames, duel with ace pilots in their own personal customized Battle Frames, engage mother-ships and battle against giant world-ending weapons.

Features:

  • Very fast-paced combat – pounce on your enemy at between five to ten times the speed of sound. Take on incoming missiles with your machine guns and cut down enemy Battle Frames with your laser sword in a matter of seconds
  • Total flying freedom
  • Wide array of weapons, from giant laser sword to conventional projectile weapon (GUNS!), beam weapons and multiple types of missiles and drones.
  • Endless survival mode with multiple types of Battle Frames to choose from, plus transformable mecha!

About the Early Access build:

This Project Nimbus Early Access launch build will consist of the first of four chapters from the story campaign plus the endless survival mode.  With the help of feedback from the community, the game will continue to evolve and improve, through to a final release candidate.

Project Nimbus launches on to Steam Early Access today Wednesday 5 November 2014 with an SRP of $14.99 / €14.99 / £10.99.  Early Access preview keys are available to request now.  Please contact Dave Clark at Kiss (marketing@kiss-ltd.co.uk).
